What is this settlement about?
The Plaintiffs allege that the defendants engaged in a conspiracy to raise, fix, or maintain the price of turkey. As a direct result, the Plaintiffs and the Class paid inflated prices for turkey during the Class Period. Only Tyson and Cargill have settled this case so far, which means that the Settlement amount could grow to be much larger if more defendants settle.
Who is qualified in the Settlement?
All persons and entities who directly purchased Turkey from any Defendant or any alleged co-conspirator in the United States at any time from, January 1, 2010, through January 1, 2017.
